This project was the design of a wall for an industrial environment. Their job was to produce concrete and their work environment was full of cement and sand. It was located next to the main road. A wall was supposed to be placed in front of the workshop and we, as designers, had to create a visual identity for this workshop using this wall.
At first, we wanted to design the project using concrete panels. But it was forbidden to build any wall with massonary materials in the location of this project. So the only option was to use iron sheets. Therefore, the design process went towards creating cuts in the sheet.
The form was formed based on the abstraction of the concept of "sand", as it's one of the the fundamental components of concrete... Maybe we can consider concrete as a fluid in which there is sand... So we took these two concepts of "fluidity" and "sand" and used it as the main design factors.
The design was an abstract concept of "sands, in such a way that they are moving along with the flowing fluid and are going to become concrete."
The above sentence was a description of the idea of this project. Finally, the implementation of this idea led us to use technologies such as parametric modeling, grass hopper, CNC cutting, etc.
